it will cut good stock cl needs rakers lowered and when im grinding it i take alot out from under the cutter
alot of the times i just take a file with me to knock the rakers down
i leave the rakers to them because i dont know what saws they are usually on i run mine between 25 and 30

id say the first one you showed will be more durable and the second one will be faster but pretty much same results you had before moving the dresser
yes it is changing the angles but once you are there it wont take much from now on
the less than stock top angle helps durability there was a video on youtube showing results of the different angles ill look to see if i can find it
that looks alot better for durability id do a chain with that grind and test it
