Milled a few more of the small logs. Turned out some nice 1x4 and 1x6 boards. Going to use them for purlins on our roof. Not bad for a afternoon.
We had to sign a waiver that they were not responsible for our safety.

Fires were from last week. They are still battling flare ups. Rained a little last night, hope that helps.
Daughter and I volunteered for a clean up project at our local State Park. We had a very bad forest fire in our area. Many thousand acres burnt....
I have more bed than truck. Can easily overload.
I bought a pair of shin guards a couple of years ago and only think about them is when I get hit by a split.

This is a Logrite Jr. Converted to a hitch type. Works good to carry log out of the woods. I hate dragging them and getting them all dirty.

Went to Walmart this evening. First time in a long while. They were putting out spring gardening supplies. Not impressed with their oil supply.
Cleaned up some pine and poplar slabs. Will use for campfires and SS.
Update on wait time on new products at Pa. Woodmizer. 2-1-24
Sawed up some more of the small logs I've acquired. Worked on some 1.5 x 3.5 x8 and some 1 x 6x 10-12. 50+ degrees, no wind and hit no nails.
