    Small saw needed, which one?

    I'd be lookin at Dolmar & Husqvarna for a 'good' small saw. Get a Husq 545 and you probably wont use the ms290 any more. :)

    It's not really a problem at all. I've never had a saw with an O ring or gasket where the air filter attaches. Have 7 or 8 saws with similar air...

    I've not had that problem with the 562. Did have some fine dust getting in the old 346, but 15 years of hard use and no issues.
