I only got a 2 year. I asked my dealer about it and she said only a 2 year even if I bought the mix.
Are you still running the saw although you tried both methods to keep the dust out. How long have you been running the saw.
I can't imagine the saw lasting a long time if the filter doesn't catch the dust very well. A lot of loggers around my area say they use husqvarna...
I have always kept my air filters clean on all my saws. I pulled the filters off all my saws the 394xp and ms 461 are spotless past the filter....
I like the Teflon tape. Shame that this saw doesn't have the filtration my 394xp has the dirt and dust never even gets to the filter.
