A few of my pellet buddies have been buying Wamart Pennintons for years. This season there were no Penningtons to be had in RI and Eastern CT....
If you're getting gas and spark, don't waste your time with all else. Drain the gas, put on a new carborator ($20 on line) and it will run as new.
I haul more horse chite than wood. I just added some PT wood to a set of Hornet Rails. Not as nice as Woodsnwoods' set up but it works for me.[ATTACH]

Be sure the shoot at the bottom of the hopper is completely clear. My 52i will do this when there is a blockage.
I run a 4ft on my bx2660, 19.5 hp at the pto. I don't think you'll have any issue running a 6ft with 28hp at the pto.
