they're out Never mind, must have had the wrong page, I may get one
damm! knocked over your wood pile. Now the real important question, what types of trees are those?
You guys are lucky, every tree guy around here I've talked to sells the wood, they either cut and split it themselves to sell or have firewood...
What does "too much wood" mean?
Hope you get to feeling better Dennis, I've been super busy so I'm out of the loop, is it you hip?
You did better than me, I got a little over half a cord and called it a day and popped a beer.
What kind of wood is the 461 sitting on?
Im the same way, bothers me cause I know it should be in the drying process and not the on deck circle.
There's ,few guys around here that do that too, how much for that amount in your area? I haven't called anyone here for prices since I wouldn't...
That's not a bad deal for that amount of wood, I notice more people around here selling smaller amounts, I guess a lot of people have firepits now...
Is it white birch? Around here we have white, yellow and black, black has the highest btu's of the birches. Yellow seems most plentiful though...
Like shopping at a wood Wal-Mart.
Couldn't agree more, other than an electric company freebie I got in April I've been shut out this year, got about 3/4 cord of elm and box elder....
I've been late to the party many times myself, used to be a time a few years back it would sit for awhile, not anymore.
Nice haul, looks like ash and it's not even ash wednesday
Not long PB, maybe a month, I may try it with another species too, not sure yet.
I'm thinking of trying this with a couple cords of oak this week to see where its at come October. What's the best plastic to buy? Those big rolls...
I didn't know that about walnut, wish I knew before I cut two cords of it, looked like it would be good.
Usually my stacks are a lot of oak so they usually smell like oak, this year I haven't cut much oak, I have walnut, black birch and ash, smells...
