A torch tip cleaner works well to clean holes in the main jet also.
Cheapest way is to feather the handle or restrict the flow of oil some way. I used a needle valve in hat I got from surplus supply.
Or wear purple hands. I don’t care for gloves myself. Wear them to keep my hands warm when it’s cold, not for protection. Will never be a hand...
