Bark looks like the White Ash I see here but I've never seen Green that I know of, and Black Ash range looks to be north of me. I hope it's White...
That's my guess, Red Mulberry. If so, it's great wood, BTU about like White Oak.
Yeah, I don't know of any dense woods that dry in less than two years, but maybe there are some. Bill2 doesn't list his stove; Maybe he's burning...
Check out their website, and spiel on their tech..made sense to me, and it's a very simple stove. The 2019 is what I got for my SIL; It doesn't...
As far south as we are really only need Oak in the worst couple months of the year. The rest of the time we can burn about anything and stay warm.
Not much creo at all, secondary/cat burns the smoke well if, like Chaz said, you have dry wood. No power needed, not outside air (OAK) needed...
I'd try two small 8" fans, one just into the kitchen, close to one of the bedroom hallway entrances, the other just outside the stove room...
Obviously, I can't move a log with these bbq tongs, but I can move coals and remnant splits that are down to a couple inches. I'll sometimes scoot...

I grab those all the time. Love finding 'em with all the sapwood rotted off. The heartwood holds up a long time, especially if they're off the...
I think bigger splits will extend burn time some, but you can also cut the air more if you have medium-sized splits...I'll let actual AS owners...
Yeah, this is a situation where calling might be better. They are going to want to ask you some questions, and email is gonna end up being more...
Yes, you cat run a straight cat, or hybrid (AS,) low or high, your choice, depending on how far you have the primary air open. As you guessed,...
I would think they would provide extra radiation surface to pull more heat off the box. They look good IMO, but I wouldn't mind the plain version...
From what I've seen of those two companies' products, they are the two I would be looking at as well. But as was mentioned, there are a lot of...
Yeah, dealers will have to try to get their money out of any old stock they have, before May. Should be some deals, but you also wanna get the...
o_O I sold about 1/3 of those you see in the second pic. The guy has a custom mill that will cut a 54" wide slab, and here's some of his work....
