You haven't lived until you own a ported saw
Well you can always use the hammer to teach it a lesson. Lol
Reminds me of the one you would use at the fair to see if you could ring the bell
Bad thing is so am I. We have some hoes that weigh in over 250,000 pounds. Then there are the d- 10s and d-9s along with a bag of other big iron.
Yeah I really like it too. Lots of comments about it here at work, but no swingers yet. I drove a track hoe bucket pin in with it this morning...
Got a handle in 'er. Over 22#s man killing iron. I'll drive a few pins with it then take it home.[ATTACH]
I was guessing on the weight, comparing the size to a modern 16# sledge but I was wrong. We weighed it today at work and it's 22#,s
Same size on both ends
Definitely not soft. A file will barely cut it. When I get it rehandled I will find out how hard it really is
Looks to have been turned on a lathe
[ATTACH] It had two metal wedges and two steeples in the broken haft
I swing one alot putting d-9 and d-10 blades together. Also taking the stick, bucket, and boom apart on the big track hoes when we move them
Yes it does have a socket. Still has the last little bit of wood left in it with a metal wedge.
Definitely going to put a handle in it. I'm a heavy equipment mechanic and use one nearly every day. May not use this one much but will swing it...
I found this in a field that dad and I were cutting hay on for the first time. Was wondering if anyone has seen one like it. That's a 16 Oz bottle...
Nice job Chud. You sure can tell it was a town tree.
Might be a hoarder if your on vacation and take the long there because you saw an add about free wood and normally it was to far from the house. (...
Nice job. Looks like it should perform.
That's more like it Warner. Tomorrow the rock hammer is getting the liquid wrench put to it. The insert in the bottom end where the bit goes won't...
Rebuilding a rock hammer today [ATTACH]
