No you can't see the cat. The cat is way up towards the back of the stove,,, plus the cat sits horizontally .
Once I get my cat probe installed on the PH ,,,, I feel I'll get to learn a lot more about the stove... At times I wonder if the cat is working...
I certainly like that idea! Maybe just make it so you run the secondary draft independent of the primary draft! That should divide things up..
You know Todd, how about offering the PH in two different stove models, Hybrid and Cat only... I know more testing,,but... Base line of the stove...

There's a simple fix! All though,, it's nice having those raging secondaries when you want some driving heat! Last night I left the PH draft open...
Did you try calling some rental places in your area? Someone must rent something similar. There are other companies that make stair climbers, so...
First season,,, still using mine,, door does shut easy,, but I'm betting a dollar bill will be tight.. Having a raised edge going into the gasket...

I couldn't agree more about fine tuning the stove... I think any cat stove should come with a cat probe as standard equipment... You have a STT...
I just used a wireless barbecue monitor... strapped the probe to my copper pipe that my pex adapted to from my wood boiler in my basement..Put...
Get a couple of people and the move will be easy and safe.. No damage to you or your stove..
