I just got an early birthday present! Got it at tractor supply. It looks really well built.
I replaced my coil in October and it just went bad today and it was OEM. What are reasons it would go bad so quickly?

Any suggestions for storing my splitter? Don’t want to take up space in my garage? I live in North Carolina.
I did replace it so it is not the original with one from Amazon. Maybe bad metal?
Has anybody replaced the hand tightening nut? I would like to be able to tighten it with my gloves on and possibly use the scrench.

What is a rim sprocket? I am using 20" .325" pitch 80 links .050 gauge chains
I'm sure I have the proper pitch. I probably ran about 80 tanks for gas through the saw. I didn't think I had the chain too tight or too loose.
Anybody know what would cause the chain to wear through the gear like this?
Is this one a real OEM coil? https://amzn.to/4nkxqqD
I had this go out about 2 months ago and replaced it and now it has gone out again. Any ideas why it might have gone bad so quickly?
