I have the same exact LL Bean bag. It has served us well. I may have started using it 5 yrs ago, so might be closer to the 15-20 cord mark.

Just replaced a Frigidaire which lasted 18 years with a Whirlpool. The Whirlpool is a piece of junk, I will be surprised if we get 5 years out of it.
