I'm not sure of all the gaskets in that stove but as for replacing, if one goes bad we just replace the whole gasket. We're into our 12th year with our Fireview and have replaced all gaskets once. The top lid gasket has been replaced twice. It seems that gasket went bad after only 2 or 3 years.

Is that the bypass door gasket (I don't think it's in the front of the box, though..?) It might come loose, but should last longer than 2 yrs. without smashing down too much. Some compression will happen though..
I use OEM gaskets, not the farm store or stove shop stuff; That way I can be certain that the gasket is the type and density that the stove maker wants in there.

I like those older style Woodstock's. I bet that style of baffle allows a little more room in the firebox? Ive also heard that upper cat chamber is a good place to bake potatoes.

I haven't seen a 205 in person so I can't compare the room in the firebox. I do know that the cat location on my 201 is different from the 205 which has the cat in the center. I've heard about making hobo potatoes in the top of the stoves but I haven't tried it out yet.

Time to order a new baffle :( I was cleaning out the top of the stove this evening and noticed a long crack on the baffle near the cat cover.

Installation day for the new baffle. Mid-60s and rainy so no outside work today.

I took a pic of the old one so you can see how bad the crack was.
