Well, you could pick up some 1 x 1 x 1/8 angle and sister it to the TS. That would also increase your flat from 1" to 3" for better weldment of your expanded.

I just looked I think I’ve got enough angle to line both outter sides and the center support with 2” angle underneath and I’m fairly certain there will be enough 1*1 to double up the supports for the tires.

The two tire supports are for the splitter tire width and riding mower tire width.

Thats gonna man be a lot of wire.:headbang: O well live and learn.

It’s only got to hold a max of 600lbs that’s what the rider weighs. The splitter is lighter I think.

Plate holder in the works some old dirty metal and a grinder is perfect!

    No more bent plates!

I want it behind the left fender but I’m not sure if that’s legal so it’s getting welded either under the back or on the ramp with a light

Pete you're doing a great job on this trailer! Very nice design, welding and fabrication! Tried new welder today and it seems decent unlike my welds lol..

    Thanks Ray:D
Think about a pool and that’s the ticket once you get heat figured out drag the pool. Don’t try and be fancy at first just move the pool until you get it down.

Believe me I’m not a good welder I am a decent welder at best but it’s still fun!

I'm in the same boat Ray. Fun to learn. I have a hard time seeing the work. Anyone using a worklight once the lens darkens to see the work? I might be too dark on the mask setting.

With low amperage I allow more light in.. Auto darkening works really good..

Jon if you have the user guide look and see if it has a shade to guage guide for your helmet. My metal man did although I haven’t used it yet. You can also play with the helmet starting at the darkest and working down until you can see the pool.
