    I had pie! Pumpkin actually.

The entire meal went perfectly, granted we were guests and just had to bring desserts.

Watched some football, had a lot of fun at my friend's mom's house.

    Good times. Great company.

She made awesome stuffing and gravy, the bird was pretty good too. Mashed taters were awesome too.

I'm full, hours later, but that was so good.

Well it's almost 5am and I've been awake for an hr now. I woke up to what sounded like godzilla trying to chew through my closet wall. I searched the basement thinking a squirrel had gotten in and was chewing on the joists but no sign down there. The sound went away so i layed back down snd it started again. This time I pinpointed it to a section of wall inside the closest at the floor. So i figured a squirrel had gotten in the attic and somehow got stuck between the walls. Up in the attic I went with headlamp on and flashlight in hand. After rolling back a few layers of insulation i found a 12"x 1" section at that wall where the sheetrock had a gap. I shined the light down the crack to see what monster was causing all this ruckus and what do I see, A MOUSE! That little sucker fell down the only crack he possibly could and got stuck. Somehow he managed to sound like a giant wall monster trying to chew his way out.

After all that commotion i guess it's coffee time :coffee:

Caffeine going down. I am hoping we don't get too much snow/rain mix today. Time to do some more siding on the barn. Hopefully today or tomorrow my brother can stop by and install some lights for me. It's starting to get darker in there. :binoculars:

At my last place a mouse found his way into the wall just above the bed (bedroom in basement so the mouse was above the foundation wall) and was chewing - did sound like it should have been a porcupine boring thru the siding :hair:! Another year they got into the space between the basement ceiling and upstairs floor - several mice were playing tag, or some such game - about drove us nuts. I am happy this house doesn't have a mouse issue. They stay outside - which is surprising since this house isn't nearly so tight as the previous one. Mind you, I'm not complaining!

Mornin' hoarders.......................ah the "Black Friday" blues have arrived. Black Friday's primary mission is to put a smile on the faces of the "merchants". The OTHER reason they call it "BLACK FRIDAY" is less notable, actually MORE noticeable. Turkey and the trimmings fill tummies on Thursday and following the "gorge" the true meaning of "Black Friday has arrived today...................:vulture::fart::fart::fart::fart::fart::fart::fart::fart::fart::fart::fart::fart::fart::fart::fart:........................and don't blame the DOG.......... :rofl: :rofl: :rofl:

Hope to purchase a pair of boots for work this morning. I wonder if there are many left at the store since it opened yesterday evening for awhile?

    Happy black Friday matters!

I've found that mice in a wall can fall asleep drilling a tiny hole where they are at and filling the area with spray foam. Then they won't stink either

Woke up to a mostly clear morning with frost on the ground. Busy day today with chores as we spent yesterday at Mom's. campinspecter moved wood inside and cleaned gutters. Probably rain for the weekend.

I love Rocky boots. I'm on my second pair. The first pair lasted 10+ years and the second about that long as well.

I'm going to head over to my neighbor's house to help him cut up this decent sized pine tree. I think it was a jack pine. It's been down for a few months and he wanted a hand taking care of it.

He bought a new ms241 recently, and apparently did that because his old stihl stopped working. He's not mechanically minded, so I want to see what the issue is with the old stihl.

I have the first pair of rocky's from about 13 years ago. The soles were replaced on them and then they start splitting near the ball of hte foot. From then on out, its nothing more than a fair weather boot with shoe goo smudged into the failed spots.
I have found that the soles wear out way too quick for my tastes....planned obsolescence?

All in all, I think this is the 6th pair I have bought; only two of them have been the same style. these are the "cornstalkers".

I really enjoy the waterproofing that rocky uses in their boots. A gore-tex sock so I'm told.

My first pair of Rocky boots were cornstalkers, my current pair are Wildcats. Both are gore-tex. The soles fell off of my cornstalkers, I never had them resoled. I figured they served their purpose.
