    Gonna have to go to 16" on the width. Good call. Andbody ever use the dawg as a guide like this?

    Interesting.. I'd rather use the outer dawg though. Your left hand is going to get really hot because the exhaust is pointing right at that board. Maybe your saw too.

    I sometimes have to use the dawgs to pin down smaller branches under 4" or so. They like to roll around or jump right out of the stand when you touch the chain to them because they're so light.

    The Black Locust will be nice....no sapwood. You may have to leave it lay around for a while until the bark falls off, if it's not loose.

    Thanks for talking me into this sawbuck thing guys. I feel this processing is faster than hauling it out of the wood myself. Going for a trailer load tomorrow! Will see how it goes to fill that thing to the top. I went 5' and i think i might cut them down by 6".

    I stack it to the top, no ratchet straps needed if you put a couple heavies on top.

    Looks good!

    Local Amish guy that sets up his mill then logs and saws on sight. He was working a 40 acre woods on one of the farms close by. I have bought from him before.
