there are 2 birds in that bag i believe coz I aint ever seen a 10 pound chicken, but i may be mistaken
Finished up the 7 racks and 2 shoulders. The first pic has a little of everything American...pallet forks, beer in a can, two smokers, a Webber, a kid eating dirt, firewood split, logs, a farm gate, no grass, pile of dirt... It's a work in progress in the backyard. The food came out great though
Marinated chicken kabobs & burgers on Weber kettle last night,1 slab of baby back ribs going in the smoker in about 4 hours.... Doctor 3 weeks ago advised me to cut back on red meat consumption so I'll get 6-7 meals outta that slab now instead of 2-3 Last hour burning down Apple & Black Cherry for coal bed. Ribs on now, will be done between 4-5PM. Heavy thunderstorm rolled through around 5 this morning, light showers off & on until noon but unless strong gusts blow the smoker over, that wont affect my dinner...
fatty with seasoned chicken tits diced ,red sweet peppers diced and sharp white chedder inside, extra peppers on the side
What kind of smoke you using Eric VW? Let us know how it goes. A few pictures along the way wouldnt be bad either.
Apple, Hickory, and Cherry.... Pics??? If you're looking, ya ain't cookin'! I'll see what I can do......
Aint that the truth. Itchin to get out the smoker. My brother in Vancouver put a brisket in the smoker at 1 am this morning. Says it will be ready 15 hours later. Im 12 hours drive away so I wont be able to sample it.
My smoke is sitting on top of combination lump and some hickory "infused" and Apple "infused" briquettes.... Oh come on.... You can do it! What's 12 hours for brisket?
Would be nice. I might get him to join just for this thread. He loves smoking meat. Only firewood he burns is in the fire pit in his yard though.
