    He used one cup of salt per gallon of vinegar for the 'brine'

    My buddy uses a plastic tub with water and baking soda and hangs two old mower blades in it for electrodes and hooks his battery charge up to it.

    I've heard of using "washing soda"... Not sure if there is a chemical difference between baking soda and washing soda..

    Additionally, I've heard that you SHOULD NOT do this with stainless steel due to the noxious fumes produced from the chemicals that are used in making the steel stainless.

    This seems quicker and easier then using electrodes and battery chargers. Just dump some salt and vinegar in a bucket and wait.
