Yup...5 stars....definite top of the line IMO....great, great pellet. I wish I could burn these PTL's all the time... I'm looking forward to BC's stuff.....I might get spoiled testing all these softies! Up next are the Okie Plat's I got today.
Pretty sure the Liggie's softies either had lots of DF or Saratoga pine in them. Some of the cleanest fiber on this planet. Sure wish the Eureka's would make their way east. Another dandy pellet that I really miss. These brands will spoil a stove thats been over worked and under paid!
PTL hardwood. did heavy lifting for me last year-- it was damm fridgid. I was hoping to grab more this year. I would scoop a skid of PTL softies on word & My experience with PTL. If i catch word they are in my stomping grounds, my buzzard wont fly straight.
Another fine job my friend and thank you for letting me know they were in our area sitting on 30 bags that won't get touched till single digit temps
Steve, I want to say thanks for doing this review. You guys already know this from my prior posts, but I really like these pellets. My unofficial test results agree very much with your findings. These are the best pellets I have burned so far this year, and yes, that includes the Blazers. For the price, this was definitely the best score so far. Problem is, I find myself not burning them for now, just so I can have plenty when it gets freaky cold out. It's gone to be a sad day when I run out of them. Especially since I bet I will never find them again around here, considering how far they traveled to get here.
Unless the crud slows em down. Paybacks are a PITA my friend. Won't be till after Xmas but the truck will make a stop to pout something on your door step! Where can I get me some Douglas fir? Hmmmm!!
You have to let go.. Because of reluctance to burn i sat on half a skid of oakies for 2 years, considering i did not have use of the cash for 2 years-- they were hella expensive! Also bein a good chit miser, will have you burning the primo during shoulder season..
