    Pres-to-Logs (PTL) Softwoods results: FINAL RESULTS

    Temp Average - 280-400 (on door thermometer)

    Ash Volume - 8 ounces

    Ash Weight – 1.05 ounces

    Ash Percentage - .17% (OUTSTANDING)

    Fines In Bag – less than 1/8 of a cup (about a tablespoon)

    Pellet Length Avg. – 1/4" –3/4”

    Bag Weight – 40.2 lbs. (12.70 oz. left in hopper)


    Notes:
    $239 a ton from Home Depot
    Basically zero fines
    From Idaho plant



    These pellets absolutely rock! High heat, ultra-low medium grey color ash and maybe a tablespoon worth of fines in the bag. I’m not even sure how that is possible coming all the way in from Idaho. I can’t even find anything negative to say about these. These are, by far, the best overall pellet I’ve burned this year. We NEVER see softies in my area of the east coast and I was stoked that these came through this season. Oh yeah and these smell great to boot!

    All in all this is an awesome pellet. If you see these BUY THEM.....I did!!!
