I found my grass clippings make great weed control in the garden.

While pulling 5&6 year red oak, I've just been stacking the loose bark.

I suspect it'll be used up in campfires.

Bark tiles are used as ground cover and have been used for top cover before. I did burn a big pile of it this winter. The splitter leavings become kindling. Just walked around last night and picked up a feed sack worth. You could wait until your fire is well burning and toss in some bark every so often.

I’ve chipped some in the past. These days, most bark goes into the firepit during the warmer months.

If it is burnable, it goes in the wood pile. Random pieces go through the shredder and into compost. Makes some good stuff when mixed with grass clippings, chicken manure, rabbit poo, and other odds and ends.

My area where75% of my splitting takes place. It will get raked, scooped and dumped. I can easily fill a feed bag with wood shards after splitting a cord. Sometimes a lot less. The only bark I seem to save is sugar maple. IMG_7042.JPG IMG_7047.JPG

When i run the splitter the Kawi Mule is close by. I toss much of it in there. Dump id to fill in holes on the logg paths or just dump it in there woods to break down

I dump all my bark and small stuff back into the woods.
Mostly on my ATV trails to prevent erosion.
