It was such a nice day weather wise and very productive firewood wise. So I decided to keep going for another couple hours. IMG_1614.jpeg IMG_1615.jpeg IMG_1616.jpeg

Sandhillbilly that's awesome. Just throw the splitter scraps in the barrel and keep warm! I'm using it!

That's exactly what I do, except I'm a day splitter 99% of the time.

    This thread needed reviving.
So I split up some of my super dry elm. Would love to have had a fire going mostly for ambiance, but it’s so dry around here there ain’t no way I’m starting an outdoor fire. IMG_3181.jpeg IMG_3182.jpeg IMG_3183.jpeg IMG_3180.jpeg The last picture of the single lantern at the wood shed was a couple days earlier, just because I got a new ( to me) lantern. Actually was manufactured in 1931 or 32

Looking good over there. Yeah nothing like a fire while working outside. Send some of that warm weather and dry ground here. Mud season will be upon us very soon once the snow melts. :picard:

I had forgotten about this thread. Yes that does look good. That big shed is awesome.
We finally got a light pole built for Blue Samson and tried it out Wednesday night. 20260124_093458.jpg

I need to put a light pole on my splitter. Just need a 240v light for it…

Why not come off 1 leg and ground for 120v?

I have 2 hots and a ground that is connected to the motor housing/splitter body. I don’t want to put any voltage into the body of the splitter.
