What's a good wood rack for my hearth?

Been using a Log Hoop since forever. Can't even recall where I got it from. It's probably 40" wide or so. Cheap and simple...seems to be standing the test of time.

 

I do not like any of these options

Too rustic!

 

I thought that's what heating with wood was.

If rustic isn't your cup of tea, you can always go contemporary. Put an assortment of colors and flavors in whichever cubby you choose.

Give any wooden/hand built rack a good primer and finish coat (high gloss rustoleum).
Have someone stencil or paint artwork on the side for a chic-look.

 

How about a couple of pictures of your hearth and surrounding area?

Yes we live in a log home but the vibe is kinda more "colorado chalet" than "my old kentucky home" so I don't want anythin super rustic or diy looking. Yes I do live in Kentucky tho lol.

 

I have a face cord on my patio but nobody in this house likes going outside to reload first thing in the morning.
