Find an old Huber grader and plow it. Add a wing to push back the roads. Make some money. Can’t hurt the old Hubers, it might be cold but I’m sure you’ll survive. IMG_6340.jpeg

We're both up near 10 tonight. But watching a movie, no ball drop.

Today should be the last day of "holiday guests".

It was nice visiting but it'll also be nice to get back to the old daily routine.

Pretty sure someone got their deer last night at around 9:30. One solitary rifle shot somewhere within the neighborhood.

Ice fishing derby next weekend, it's been a VERY mild winter. Many/most days above 30* and many nights only down to the 20's. This week has been highs in the 40's. There's fishing huts up all over. (canvas huts, not like a little building you describe), but still I pray they are all smart and stay safe.

We all had a good laugh this morning. ATV carrying 2 guys and dragging sled stopped right in front of our swimming area. They were way too close to the shore for fishing. Anyway, they got off the atv, grabbed the ice auger and bored around 4 holes. Then jumped back on the atv and headed out to deeper water. They were checking the thickness of the ice!!!

We walked out there 1/2 hour later and checked it ourselves in the holes they had bored. 4" and that was it.......:jaw:

WWW is not an ice fisherman, just a couple times decades ago, so not sure, but he guesses maybe 6" here.

Oy it’s chili today. Couldn't sleep so I went to work early. Coffee in hand and away with wiring the world up. It’s pretty nice working alone with no noise.

That would be an epic way to wake up! Better than my method of radio fuzz and coffee lol.
