Nice gear!! 1200HP should be fairly easy.
What ya got going on with the fuel system?

    Compression Ratio?

Two fuel systems mechanical injection( just methanol) , one into the blower to help keep it cool and the second into the intake runners. Nothing out of the ordinary, this is going to be bare bones old style seat of your pants kind of fun.
Compression static is right around 10:1 , depending how much blower gets thrown in will decide the final number. I don't want to kill it.

Still work to be done but seeing light at end of the tunnel.

Ahhhh.. One fuel system ( pump & barrel valve ) with 2 sets of nozzles. Over & under..

With 10:1 downstairs, it should live a long time. Get after the blower overdrive and let the blower do the work.

    Transmission??

    Absolutely!
Not a racer unless a couple years of Champ Karts counts.
I wasn't going anywhere with that except to the ATM weekly. Certainly fun though.

It honestly doesn't matter to me ; if it has a motor I am interested in it.

Thats the plan anyway. 8:71 on that combination should get me more than what I need and still not have to spin it to the moon. When I started I figured 6:71 was enough and it probably is for what I am trying to do but don't want to work things at their maximum. Now I have room to play.

I have two options. I have a powerglide based two speed and also a Lenco. Not sure what my final decision will be. I have mounts and linkage for both.

If I can get thit thing to go in the sixes @200 I would be happy.
My last front engine dragster ran mid 7"s all day long and had a lot less than this thing, so the possibility is there.
As many times as I said I am done it just keeps coming back to haunt me. Right now, I still enjoy it so just going to ride the wave.

    Bracket Racing - Powerglide ( consistent )

All out racing - Lenco ( 3 speed ) Let the tranny do the work.

You should be able to dip into the sixes at over 200mph pretty easy. Think of the transmission as nothing more than a torque multiplier.

Remember this.... Engine speed is wheel speed

    The straight-line thing intrigues me.
Never made a pass myself. Certainly been around some buddies who pursued it. Front engine dragster buddy who met his maker in that car. Couple buds who went really, really fast on their drag bikes. Everyone eventually got burned out and hung it up.
We ran an open wheel modified for 13 years. It had a huge impact on my life. It was totally life consuming. Hell, I quit jobs that interfered with racing. I also got about as close to divorce as a guy can get!
    Yaaaaaa. It was great:thumbs:
