I'm sorry it's sideways, I took both a portrait and a landscape and they both posted like sideways.

Is there such a thing as an angled wall thimble?

Never seen one...or anything other than a 90* tee/clean out...

How much vertical pipe will you have from the collar up before turning? The King asks for 3 feet. BK's can be rather draft sensitive. Nothing worse than being married to an unresponsive, full on puker! Puker of smoke that is. :)
Not sure if I understood your description?

Oh Boy! Thank you for pointing that out, I understood 2', and right there under the diagram is an asterisk I did not see.
    upload_2023-9-16_21-26-26.png

Including clearance to from ceiling for the out the wall to the tee we can get to, or close to 3'. I was glad for the 2' for pipe sweeping for me (my height and arms not too high) but I CANNOT afford a lazy draft. Thanks again!

Something you said Old Nate brought me to the solution, and Backwoods Savage this allows it to face the living room properly.

3' up from stove, 90*/horizontal to porch wall beyond door swinging open, 45* still in the horizontal run to wall thimble then clean out tee. Extra 2' on the stack for the additional 45*. We require pipe braces on the roof anyway.

Where does the damper go? The first 3' vertical ?

Don't forget in the horizontal section there needs to be a slight raise. Code says 1/4" per foot of horizontal. I put ours at 1/2" rather than 1/4".

About how long is that horizontal run to the 45 going to be? That will affect draft more than the 45 will...but if the chimney is tall enough, it should still work...I'd use double wall stove pipe on it though...and yes, the ideal spot for the damper would be right above the stove.

Thanks on the damper, the horizontal run is 3' to 45* and another 12" to clean out tee.

Thanks Dennis, how do you get a rise, or, what adapters will put rise on a horizontal run?

Just because Dennis hasn’t pointed it out; a stove that’s higher requires less bending and squatting to fill.. is there room to elevate hearth?

You use the slop in the fit of the pipe/fittings to just tweak it a bit, then pin it in place with 3 stainless screws

Yes there is a bit of room that I already used. I bought the taller pedestal, and it's sitting on 2.5" roofing pavers. Previous home he built an elevated hearth and I've missed it ever since. LOL, I just did the math, this configuration including Dennis's tip for rise will use 95.5" of our 96" tall room.

The firebox door will open right about our knees.
