Go for it , Like night and day. I debated myself and now ask why did I wait so long. Yes a little pricy but the finish is great and no more dressing wheels and a shop full of wheel grit.
Exactly , if you grind the worst tooth first then when you have a tooth that is not all banged up it takes an aggressive cut. You really need to start with the best tooth and then work your way to the worst being careful not to grind too heavy generating heat. CBN wheel also does not heat as bad as a standard wheel.
Chud Jim, some Oregon chains call for that angle when sharpening. I don’t believe any Stihl does. It’s usually on the box or on the paper that comes in the box.

Hmm.. Paperwork in chain box does state 90° Guess I'll reconfigure the grinder. EDIT.. done Glad you mentioned this.
