He moved away now but yes he should have. Same thing happens with short trip driving a vehicle. Excessive water and fuel can accumulate in the engine oil. Water in the transmission and axles.
Remember to check the breathers on the cases. A golf tee in the hose, tape over a vent hole ect. Can prevent a lot of "breathing" that occurs with temperature changes. Let it breathe in use to vent moisture plug it when done.
Mine was milky when I got it; but it was not under cover then. It mostly is now and no problems since
So long as you get the gearcase up to a reasonable temperature, the entrained water will evaporate. I never have that issue because I run mine pretty hard.
Double.2 actually And it’s very conservative. Probably will lift the max on the end of pallet forks. Mine is rated 1150, so 2530 lbs and I know I’ve lifted 3.5K on the inside of the pallet forks
It also depends on how high you are lifting, how close to the pivot pins ect. You already know. Lol The drealer had told be the double the number gets you close. On Kubota tractors anyway. Who knows about the other brands numbers. I need to put a guage on mine. I have the shims from Kubota that Jeff gave me. They are often on the lower end of the psi range from the dealership. A couple hundred psi adds up if you are under the max.
Here is the confusing part for buyers. This is my L3800 loader specs. One of those numbers is close to double my model number, one under quite a bit and some quite higher than double.
The number on the loader is in kg. And about 2.2 lb/kg. I reckon that’s just kinda the average roundabout middle of the road approximate amount the loader will pick up
