Got a little bling for the dolkita

I didn't say that, but the toolcat is a hell of a machine.

I had to make a few cookies since a few of those ash rounds were too long,
Cuts nice and straight again. It was doing the curve cuts with the old worn out bar.

If you're looking for a new bar, granted the dolmars use husky mounts ( unless you use an adapter to use Stihl mounts) , the online store I got this from was the best price.

 

Even stock the dolkitas outperform their cc size.

 

I really like them both. I converted the Smurf to .325 and run a vintage Remington roller nose bar on it off an SL-9 saw. Originally I was running 3/8 lp on this bar but the tip was wider than the kerf so it would get hung up in the cut so I did the .325 x .050 conversion which fixed that problem. I put the velocity stack and filter on before Kevin ported it.

Yeah no crap! I had no intentions of buying a bar anytime soon but my 346 could stand to wear a new 16” Sugi. Also looking into ported saws now! But which one to have ported, that is the question? damm you FHC.

 

Mostly the same across the board. I charge less if the cylinder doesn’t need the compression bumped up. Depends on what you want to cut with it

 

Since Blount got bought out the last time, I believe Oregon bars are now mostly if not all Chinese. So you can upgrade to a Tsumura in most smaller bar sizes for about 10-20% more $. Not a bad deal since most will never wear out a Japanese bar

I thought you had said that to me about compression. it only varies based on if base needs cut or not but I didn't want to quote you incorrectly. Horses mowf is da best place for correct information. Lol.

6421, for now.... That said it keeps up with my buddy's 460 magnum that's 78cc. I can't wait until I make it an 80cc ported saw.

UPDATE: cuts great!

I was worried about the 590 being able to pull the 24" bar with authority, but I think the LPX more than made up the difference over the stock safety chain.
