For those of us in the know, the answer is simple: Count the rings, factor in 1 1 2 3 5 8 13 21 34 55 89..... multiplied by the length and divided by 3.141592654, add 29 if it's a leap year and boom. Looks too heavy to split horizontally, that's all I know.

Yes! People who deal with volume generally don't like the big logs. I have a lot of them unfortunately but will try to take care of many of those before it starts to get hot out. Working on them in the sun in July is ZERO fun.
