That’s good, but I’d look at it anyway. Never be easier

I'm wondering what the peanut butter stuff is coming out from behind the bearing plate cover?

I’ve seen the “p-nut butter” before. Just a sealant.

If you need the oil pump worm gear gear be sure it’s the one that’s compatible with the .325 clutch bell . 503 89 22 02

Edit .... I was typing this while you were typing .

Let me guess...City of Industry California? I've been told that is basically just a large warehouse district full of chineez vendors.
I see that listed as a location so often anymore...I try to buy somewhere else (usually outside of Cali) because the shipping times are often slow, and they basically tell you return it if you have a problem with it...but shipping it back is more than its worth often times, and they know that...sometimes I will ship it back anyways, just to make a point.
I have a case open with ebay on a part right now because the part is nowhere close to fitting, and it specifically listed my model, and there are a hundred others that are the same way...same part and it says it will fit, nope, the picture doesn't even look close (now that I have my part in hand and know what it is supposed to look like)
They told me to send it back, I said that's pointless because it will cost more than I paid for me to ship it...they said it cant be wrong "because all these other vendors have the same part listed for the same application" :headbang: so I sent a picture of what it is supposed to look like...crickets.
I just sent another email this morning warning of the impending negative feedback that is inbound shortly if that is gonna be their final answer...the part was only $6.95 shipped, so I will eat that just for the satisfaction of some negative feedback.
Big picture though, they probably don't care, they have a dozen accounts and just shut 'em down when the feedback gets back, or paws get slapped by ebay too much.
Worst part is that the part was out of Houston TX, so I thought it was in the clear with this crap...:picard:

Earlier this week I called a local logging supply for a couple small parts I needed for a saw. They sent them in an envelope and the price was way under any online place I found. All parts are oem. Eff supportin' them crap shy-knee parts.

Muffler mount screws were the issue for my 350 I had several years back. If you don’t stay on top of it. They’ll strip out the threads once hey loosen enough to vibrate. Ended up getting rid of the saw. Can’t beat a free saw though!

The fix is so easy, and cheap. Simply mod the 346 muffler bracket by cutting off one mount ear. This is the Jonsered version of a 350, dyed black.

By the way, you can keep the new clutch bearing greased without dismantling the clutch. Just take a grease injector for the guide bar nose and shoot grease into the end of the crankshaft. It only takes a small amount, but makes it easy to maintain a neglected part in a lot of saws.

Not all do that. Are you 100% sure the 350 does?
