Lucky dog! My wife wouldn't move a piece of firewood even if she was about to trip over it! But I love her just the same.:emb:

Not adjustable but it just drops over the vertical wedge with ease , slide it on or off. Very easy.

Nice splitter! How high is the table off the ground? Looks low in the picture

If I remember correctly from what I read , I never actually measured it myself but I will if I think of it , the beam is 31 inches so the table is about 4 inches lower than the top of the beam. You are correct , it does look low in the picture but it really isn't as low as it looks.

I am 6' 2" and standing next to it it is a comfortable working height.

    Hey jmb6420,
If you are still interested in adding a lift, Ruggedmade has all the parts on their website. They may be able to assist. There's plenty of talent on FHC to help with the application if needed.

I should have been more specific. I have a 37 ton splitter but it's another brand. Northern Tool.

That still might work with the RuggedMade parts. It's a pretty simple system that bolts on the I-beam.

I am willing to bet that with a little work you could make it work with Rugged made parts or even another manufactures parts.
It is not a complicated design. Brackets for lift are bolted on and the valve just piggy-backs off your existing valve for the ram , add a couple hoses and there isn't really anything else to it.
Beam height and log lift length might be the biggest thing to keep in mind , they have to sort of work together to have lift at right height in the down position.

Thanks, I'm seriously checking this out. Looks like I'd just need this kit, another valve, couple of fittings and hoses and a little ingenuity. Looking like about a $5-600 add on.

Got one too, good setup except it needs a hitch on the other end. You have to remove the table to hook/unhook & tow. I put a 2" shim in my 4 way for bigger splits for my boiler. All in all a decent machine for the price.

Pic of the tongue I put on the other end. I can leave it hooked to the tractor to split this way.

after a year or so how do you like the RuggedMade log splitters you have?
I am thinking of getting one with the log lift and also like the idea of swapping the tongue I put on the other end also.
Did you both get the Raven engine? Elec key Start?
I wanted a Honda but they are not available now.
    Thanks for any help

Myself I am very happy for the money. Keep in mind that although this is a company based in the USA it is not made here in the states.
There were some issues but with a few mods. It has treated me well. For me it was a huge upgrade from my old MTD splitter.
I Have the Raven engine and it has been flawless. Like any other engine regular maint. and oil changes are key. The Raven if I am not mistaken has a 3 year warrantee and Honda was only one year.
If you decide to go this route I can tell you what modifications I have done that fixed some minor issues that it had out of the box.
And you have to assemble it yourself , a bit of work but not imposable.
