Yes, Worcester. Second largest city in New England. Southern end just off Rte 290 near Holy Cross college. I drive by it every day on my way to work. They have a huge inflatable polar bear mascot just off the highway that constantly gets popped by punks with BB guns.

It's been a long week and I've still have one day to go yet. So a glass of Makers 46 on the couch in front of the wood stove and some FHC reading to relax and unwind before bed.

It's not bad for a low end rum. I mix it with diet cola so it's pretty much the same as the rest. I like it better than Bacardi and Captain Morgan spiced but not as much as Kraken Black.

    Hazy little thing x 5.

Speaking of which, I can’t seem to find the “it’s colder here, what are you burning” thread, so I’m just going to unload on you here. I pre-apologize for being on-topic in the off-topic portion of the forum. Sort of double off-topic when you think about it, but...

Man it’s cold tonight (for around here), 15f they say. I kicked it off with some soft woods including some primo eastern red cedar or Juniperus virginiana, as I like to call it. Then I rolled into some cherry and semi-hard maple (Norwegian). I had a little (bigger than most splits) ugly of red-oak that I couldn’t split, only a year or so old, but I toasted it by the stove for a few days. The oak didn’t burn that well, but that’s what I get for being on the first year of a three year plan.
Then I got into some what I think is 9 month CSS ash, based on the bore holes. So far, the ash seems to hold the coals into the morning better than anything else I’ve burned so far. I have a cord + each of white oak and black locust stacked this year, so the jury will be out for the next few years... but for now, ash is king!
