reminds me of scoungers around here. I pulled up to a fresh cut pile of wood roadside and within 15 minutes two other guys pull up with PU's!
Hey Buzz, I welcomed you in a different thread, but welcome anyway. I do like your wood stacks. With those, you will definitely fit right in.
A truer post was never made, on all counts! Another welcome from western WA. Buzz Benton those are some bichin stacks!
Welcome Buzz. I also wandered here from uh, another forum, but you may find a certain charm to this place that doesn't really exist elsewhere.
Thanks Ron! And thanks everybody! Wow! Hey Ron, I have kin in Bellville, would that be in the neighborhood? I think people from the mid-west are some of the kindest, most friendly people I have ever met. Well, besides everyone here, that is.
There's a tax. Some will want your woman, some your firewood, and the meanest will want your dog. I'm benevolent and just require your saw. Thanks. Sent from my LML212VL using Tapatalk
Welcome Buzz Benton from America's Dairyland. What do you have for saws and other equipment to produce those good looking stacks? What are you using to make all those wood pieces turn to ashes? Great people here, you will enjoy it.
Hey Dakota Hoarder! That's an honest question and guaranteed an honest answer (and mighty observant of you): I give away a few pickup loads of ugly/short/less than perfect wood to the Corp of Engineer's campground I live next to.Plus, there is quite a knack to making every cut perfect. You should see those people smile, especially when I show up on a cooler than expected morning. Before someone asks, no, there are no firewood sales at our Corp of Engineer Campgrounds, but I am free to give it away.
