Got up to 80 here today with rising dew point. Not horrible, but hotter than I like.

That's been our morning temperature for several days until this morning when it wasn't quite that low but thank God we are a long ways from 90! Our highest temperature forecast is 84 and that is for today. 83 tomorrow then much cooler air coming our way after a bit of rain Sunday.

Deer season opens Oct 1. I surely hope it gets much cooler by then. However, it is not uncommon for the first couple days of October to be way too warm. I even remember a couple years with 80 degrees on Oct 1. That is crazy.

Well, it was a frigid 50-ish last night, so I had a small kindling fire before bed.
Just didn't feel right not having a fire before the month ended.:dex:

Mid 40's overnight but still no fire in the stove. Rain about to hit us now. Looks like some heavy rain south of us.

oc to -2c the last several days with a bit of blowing snow. I decided it was time to start my burning season. The leaves on the trees arent happy but the trees have to go dormant at some point.
