Milled these 2016, thread can be seen here: Adams apple I bought metal frames for 2 2’x4’ shelves. Finally got around to putting one together and needed boards or plywood but didn’t have any, and didn’t want to go buy some. So I decided to dimension some apple slabs that were sitting around. Cut 8 pieces 4’ long. Took some pics along the way. Stopped to make sure they fit. Definitely aren’t perfectly flat but they get there after a few years… maybe. This is the thickness I stopped at. I’d compare this to working with cherry. And the cut-offs will probably get used in the smoker. Noodles, unsure as of yet. Maybe add them with my newspaper bricks next time. Good enough for what it’s for. Perfect spot for my parts washer. Sweated at least a gallon or 2. Fine to rehydrate.
