I am not a fan of screw terminals, the wires sometimes pull off and connecting and disconnecting takes time. So nice round lugs and insulated quick disconnects is one way to go?
Then for testing, I can pull the wires off the T-Stat and clip them together for manual operation:)

I check it every day, multiple times, it changes so often..
By the same token... you see plenty of people asking
the most ridiculous prices for 'junk'.. laughable.

Got in the shop at first light...
Ripped Munchy apart and got the rotor in the lathe (Hopefully for the last time)

I had tightened the set screws on the bearings and the resulting "nerf" left by the set screw resulted in a bit of a tussle on one bearing getting it off the shaft..

I finished the cut on the impact bars and then tossed the rotor in the mill and made small cuts where the set screws sit to prevent.

Ended up cutting .080" off the bars which really got us in the sweet spot.

Reassembled the unit and gave it a go.
    Looks great.

Need to build the belt guard now.

Weather is pretty good today, so the plan is to give munchy a proper shakedown.

    Hi Pelletheads,

My new washer works great! It's tall and I am not, detergent and bleach dispenser is awkward to begin with but it's also eye level on me and I keep dribbling bleach. I have one of these almost empty, any reason I couldn't rinse it out well and put bleach in it?

You just want to make sure that it is well cleaned out.

You could also use a small measuring cup.

Had snow/sleet/freezing rain turning to rain 3 out of the last 4 days. I get 6 miles from home this afternoon and it starts with the white chit. It's sticking and the road is getting slushy.

My fault - I had the snow tires removed last Friday and the forecast for a nice clear week coming up mysteriously turned to this cr*p.

Wow BogieB, out in the hills and boroughs of western NH (Hillsboro NH LOL) you have more slushy snow than we do in south Salem NH next to Mass! But actually a good day to work in the shop testing out the 25-PDVC & Quad CB1200 I am refurbishing. :)

    Normal here too

Winter appears to be shifting a bit. Stays warmer later into October and colder later into April

I used to have a bandsaw that has been passed down from my grandfather. It was powered by a motor similar to yours. set up was different. The motor was attached on a hinged plate on the rear of the table. The weight of the motor determined the tension on the wheel. Favorite motors came off the old style washing machines. Just lift up on the hinged plate with the motor and then slip on the belt. Lower the motor and the tension was set. That set up was dependable for many many years. My son now has the saw.

That looks like a decent stove. Hope you are able to recover your cost and make some buck in the process.
