Looking for recommendations on log arches for ATVs. Seems to be a lot of them available out there. Any good brand recommendations? Experiences using them? Once the snow melts off I’m planning to start working on a two acre area west of our house that was left about 80% cleared by the logging crews that came in under the former owners. Lot of pin cherry and black birch coming up amongst the mess of downed white pines. Few large pines to fell. Some smaller diameter maples that are struggling from logging damage and a couple beautiful black cherry trees that may see the Granberg mill. Plan is to open the area up for the goats and put most of the wood in the firewood shed. Definitely will benefit from being able to haul out some log lengths.
X 2 .... pretty darn good quality .... seen them used and used hard... the only thing that I’ve seen as a weak link is that the tongue is bolted on to the main body. Just get it welded... and you’ll be golden....
yes. for shipping purposes. and it does need welded. if they had made a better attachment were the tongue didn't pull directly on the bolts it would have been a lot better... couple gussets and a welder and its good to go.
