What are these.

    I find these sometimes in wood. What do they grow up to be? The kinda look like light pink kidney beans with a hair like tail sticking out of one end. The "body" ranges in size from 1/4" to 5/8" approximately. The larger ones have opaque body's with what looks like pieces of rice on them.

    Ive encountered a lot of creepy crawlies in wood and cant say ive ever seen anything like them! Sorta looks like a bean sprout! I just looked it up and "Midwinter" is right!
