    Jay....try to stick with "name brand" (Enersys, Sigmas Tek, Genesis, etc.) batteries...a lot of batteries branded after the name of the website are a crapshoot...IMO.

    No but I've been on that site. They seem to have decent prices plus you should get 10 off or so with your first order???

    Adding to Steve's recommendations :yes: - UPG brand ( UP1280I 2 pk.) batteries (12v, 8Ah) are surprisingly(!) long-life (2+/3yr) and (30$) CHEEP! :) @ the Amazonian site.. Have bought (5) 2 pks. from them this year, - not a bad battery in the bunch: all 12.65 - 12.87 v as shipped, all passed a standard 5 minute functional test after charging, and prior to being placed in service. :yes:

    Panasonic branded batteries @ [Batteries + Bulbs] local stores - check online for coupons, codes, etc. - if you can score these batteries on a deal (or needed in a pinch), they've always worked well for me. ... Genuine Panasonic is as good / or better than OEM.

    Woot, She's should be good to go know! Only blinked the 75% light green on start up and cruisin on medium heat(highest I normally run) on the 25% green light. Blinks as the auger turns(sounds soap opera ish even)......... She ran for 1/2 hour all green lights on internal(which are brandy new even). Hooked up the charged lead acids and it should be good for roughly a 6 hour run.......

    I'll charge up my AGM(more capicity) and get them on the stand. Should go a solid 8 hours plus with those....... :)

    Hopefully its the end of this story!! :) Me thirsty now!! :D

    :coldone: :coldone::coldone: and :drunk:

    Thanks for all the hints and tips fella's! :cheers:

    Power went out with all this wind. Stove ran for 3 hours or so until the power came back on. Battery indicator still said 80%

    Success!!!! Not that the stove ran, but that you were able to justify your purchase so quickly!!!
