Yup, even without cable, it is still on one of the rerun channels a lot...and way better than watching some/most of the "current" stuff that is on!

I know the a/t's in the last few 7.3 years would turn into a pile of shavings.

This was taken just before Christmas and was the case until about a week ago. We’re back up to about $1.89 on gas now.

$2.07 fuel, no problems with the cold - warms up add 1/2 tank of fuel to what was there - drive 40 miles - dead eng. water in fuel light on and check eng light. Right at the end of the off ramp getting off the freeway. I do not know if the water in fuel circuit will disable the eng. Figures I was going to do oil, filters, water separator Sat. I have not found anything definitive in that respect either, or weather it would toss a code as well. It's at the diesel shop so get the Bad? news later today. Last time it pulled this no run stunt is was the hpop unit $$$$. My friend from up north called yesterday as his had died in the cold-- Hpop went out on his 6.4. I was 6 miles from home he was 5. His hpop basically imploded so besides the hpop he will need a full set of injectors- new ones are apx $255 ea. remanf. are less but kinda questionable. passages in these injectors are so small it is almost impossible to get all the sparkles out ( metal fines) not like the ones in the over the road trucks.

Ford is bringing back the 7.3 at the end of the year....except it is a gas motor. Big pushrod NA V8. Could be a good, much less expensive option, for those that need the extra juice every once in a while.
