Just looked back almost two cord from late Oct till Dec. 27, 2018 here it is Jan 24, 2019 and I've burnt through a another cord those below zero nights really eat the wood.
Been flying through firewood this past month. I would guess we have been through 4.5-5 full cord now. Again, with burning Pine on the days I’m home, that really burns away fast.
I'm currently at about 1.3 cords of ash burnt. Maybe 5-6 stove.loads of oak and locust on top of that
Sub zero temperature coming. I may have to get into a stack for next year, if I can't keep up the cutting for the boiler. I am thinking i am over three cord now.
Just about 1.3 cord. Started last week of Sept with little kindling fires. The first 1/3 was Pine/Spruce, then mostly Ash. We hit a small vein of Oak a couple days ago. There's more of that behind the next stack of Ash. The furnace has been taking up the slack, and we're burning approx. the same amount of BTUs in nat. gas as we would normally burn wood, so same same. If the forecast is even close to correct, this below zero stuff should be going away in less than a month or so, then we can get back into smaller fires. I may just let the furnace run in the spring.
Been burning through it at a silly pace, by spring I’ll be pulling off the stacks instead of the shed(shed holds just shy of 4 cords).
Started burning late October. 2 cords of maple in northeastern Nova Scotia, stove is a Harmon Oakwood. There's no snow on the ground at the moment.
Im probably up to 3 cord. I think i will make it till the end of Feb before i run out. I really need better insulation in my house.
I've been through a cord of pine for and about 1/3 cord of pine/gum/oak blend. Probably another 1/3 cord or so of bits, pieces, chunks, shorts, uglies, and sticks.
I just refilled my 1/2 cord bin on the porch yesterday. That's 1.5 cords of ash burned so far, and very little oak and locust as the weather has demanded it. Maybe 1/10 of a cord?
