Yes. The cats outta da' bag, so here goes: Moving to NC, near Lake Norman/Charlotte area. Closing on house end of the month. In the process of getting rid of the present shack. PACKING & MOVING SUCK!!! :headbang:

But, after I finally get moved, after a month or 2 have gone by, it will all seem like a distant memory, I'm sure. Race team has it's shop about 8 min. from my new house, will try to catch on with NASCAR cup, Xfinity, or truck team for some P/T work.....hey, I'll sweep floors and be a gopher if I have to. LOL

Taxes on the new home? A whopping $1100/yr. Here's a screen shot off Google...nice corner lot w/ cul-de-sac right next door for extra parking (to the left). Woods in the back:

    Thanks!
Don't know about the pellet roaster install.....energy is so cheap there, plus the weather just doesn't get that cold for that long. I think my break even point would be a long time coming.

Making some progress. When I brought the stove home last week I actually cleaned it and stripped it in the back of my box truck because nobody was available to help me get it out of the truck. Im planning on painting the stove but with the cold weather coming in I can do it outside and can’t do it inside. So the stove came to work with me on Monday. Im a plasterer and just started on a new house. Nice big garage for me to do my thing. So while I’ve been busy spreading plaster I’ve had my helper sanding the stove whenever he has downtime. He went to town on it. Gave it another labotamy with a leaf blower then compressor and wiped it all down with acetone. Here she is ready for paint

When i took the pot out there was just about nothing left of the gasket. On that note,is this the procedure for changing the igniter every time. Seems like a lot of work to get the igniter out and I’d assume I’d have to change the burn pot gasket at the same the

It isn't. When you get your manual, it will explain how it is done.kap

I’ll have to check that out. Manual makes it sound so easy but I couldn’t get it out until I loosened the pot. Sliding it to the right the wires were hitting the wall with probably 1/4 of the igniter still in the holder. I didn’t want to force anything so just waited till I was pulling the pot. I’ll explore more on reassembly if the stove. Gaskets are arriving tomorrow and hope to get it painted this weekend

Today was a productive day. Got the firebox done with 3 coats of VHT paint and 2 coats of Stove Bright black satin on the body of the stove. I still have the door to do and the side panels but other than that she’s good to go.now I can at least get it out of the builders house and into my basement. Hope to move it Monday
