"THATS A SCAM" for your information!!!!!!!!! That person or persons advertize "NATION" wide and I don't know how they do it! I have called and e-mailed that e-mail be fore and then have got "CRAZY" e-mails and calls!!! Remeber, if it looks to good to be true, it usually is! That machine is a $4000.00 machine, who the hell is going to sell it for $1000.00? Unless its stolen...
I hear you Dave. I never called on it, as I wanted to see IF we could stop the new order. I did pick up a nice generator a few years ago that I swore could have been stolen. The guy had the receipt, and owners manual though. I hate a thief!
Yes!!! IT's a scam company!!! They want you to send a deposit to hold it fast, via credit card then your screwed!
I'm sure I will get torqued off as I drink more coffee. Makes me want to take a drive with a tarp, and a shovel now.
If I could "EVER" find those MOTHER FVCKERS, I give them a scam right up there @$$!!! That welder and a couple more have came up in the Phila, Atlantic city Craigslist many, many times. I've found the same listing in New Hampshire and New York. Pick a populated city and craigslist will have that ad.
Sure did. Got the fifty foot leads with it. They were only 229 bucks, hopefully they won't crack instantly.
That ad has been running for a few years now! I always troll craigslist once a week for tools, welders, and Jeep stuff. It's just fun to look at stuff. I very rarely buy unless it's something "I" gotta have! You can never go wrong with a welder/generator! Power is there when you need it. I got a "new" 30 year old generator this past summer for $50.00 that was sitting in a garage.
Try and keep them out of the sun, when I had my leads out for any period of time, I had them coiled in a plastic trash can. Holds them nicely!
I will do that. I have generators now that are lighter, but not as quiet. The generator noise gets old when you are building off grid all day. Be glad to get something I can trailer.
Yes it does. We worked on a friends house building it many years back before the power company dropped service and we put my "big" welding machine I had at the time a 100ft away and ran 2 @ 12/2 cords and junction boxes from it. Your right, it does get old.
Check this out, this was a craiglist find! see what I did to "quiet it down"... Coleman Generator find
I remember reading that thread Dave. Good idea. I'm building a cabin way off grid. Beautiful spot right by a creek too. I might do some retro fitting after the holidays. Thanks!
No problem! I'm sure there are some motorcycle "junk" shops on line or near you that'll get ya an old MC muffler or such. That muffler set up I did quieted it down about half and never changed the performance.
