    For me, I throw the breaker on the pump, hook up a hose to the cleanout valve and flush. Mine does have a screw valve plumbed in so it can be flushed.
    Once the tank is flushed, I throw the breaker on the pump and let it run for about 4-5 minutes, then shut it off. Once the tank if fully flushed, I'll check the pressure on the bladder. If good, I seal up the system. Then I can do the water heater.

    Well I contacted a tree service that had taken down some trees for us. Yes they left us the wood but we didn't think of ask to become a dump site for their wood. :doh: but they also said that haven't had any jobs in our area but said of they do they will contact us. Well it is a start.

    Had to take a trip to Stowe today, driving over the Smugglers Notch was an absolutely beautiful trip. But I cannot work the camera on the phone and drive at the same time, especially on that narrow passage.:emb:

    My pressure tank has no cleanout valve.

    Worked on it all day today with no luck.

    Replaced pressure switch because the pressure line was gunked up.

    Opened system up, compressor section spins freely, but I didn't tear it apart to examine the impeller fins/blades.

    Put things back together, primed system, it seems like it's building pressure according to the gage, but no water in house.
    :hair::hair::headbang:

    We currently have cold water though.
    :cool:

    I disconnected and capped off the water system in trailer, ran hose from trailer to house and backfeeding the system.

    One benefit of having two wells on the property.
    :thumbs:

    I'm sure I'm missing something, but obviously don't know what.
    o_O

    A friend mentioned the foot valve, told him I considered that, but don't want to think about the $$ if that's the case.

    I'd have to have a well service company come do that, the well casing is thick steel with concrete cap.
    :confused:

    Have a call out for more advice from a contractor we've dealt with previously.

    We'll see what he thinks.

    Thanks Gas

    Well, things are seldom easy at times, but we'll make it work.
    :thumbs:

    Worst case scenario in my mind, I have to use the tractor to make a ditch, and plumb the house into the other well.
    :eek::yes:

    The house runs on a shallow well jet pump, trailer is connected to a deep well submerged pump that got replaced a few years ago.

    Either way, I just need to figure out the plan before snow flies.
    :bug:

    Should have hot water back tomorrow, just didn't feel like a third trip to town today.

    Seems this will be a gas station, but with something attached. Probably a fast food joint or coffee shop which would explain the Industrial A/C. The orange white and green are the colors of the company that operates our refinery. Still wonder if something else will be built right on the corner. It would definitely benefit the gas station to have access from both roads.

    Are you seeing a lot of red trees this year? I think we are down here, maybe because of all the rain. You weren't as wet up there, though.

    03, those Polaris 350's were pretty well ironed out. Ours is a sportsman 500ho and a 2004, so a little different, but it's been really good to us. I know a few guys with the 350l magnums, and they are really good. It's a Fuji motor.

    Bladder tanks just don't last really long.
