    Thanks for the heads up. I knew it had been discovered in Northern Maine but had not heard about York County.

    I have been working to eradicate Ash from my land anyway, but I have a long ways to go. Hopefully I can stay in front of the quaratine's. (My avatar photo is me working on my anti-ash eradication program two years ago).

    Earlier this year I thought I should put us some Ash blanks/boards in the barn for future projects...you know, let them air dry over time. Having trouble finding anything of decent size that is relatively healthy...maybe I am too late.

    I only have 2 ash trees left that are big enough to mill, both of which have been dead for at least 3 years. They are 34 and 38" dbh. I plan to drop them sometime before Christmas. They'll be firewood as I don't have a mill. All the rest, about 50 12 to 14" dbh will get cut or fall over the next couple of years.
