I recently got a 450Rancher II and would like to get an exploded view with a parts list. The operator's manual lists 445 II, 445e II, 450 II, and a 450e II. It doesn't list the Rancher. When I tried the Husqvarna website, it wouldn't recognize the 450Rancher, only the 455 and 460 Ranchers.

I believe that the only difference in the 450 rancher and the 450 is the different part number for the rancher bar. I bought my 450 at a dealer, and it had a husky bar. Same saw at Lowes has a farm tough bar.

Crack the oil tank cap lose at end of use ( and re tighten) pressure does build a bit in there. Also clean out your bar slot and make sure the little oil port is clear in the bar as well as behind the shield plate - that little oil slot will accumulate saw dust blocking flow. Personally I port the bar oil hole to a slightly large size as well as creating a tapered slot to the port- not all the bars oil ports vs saws line up perfectly - leads to a back pressure which when you shut down saw causes oil to ooze out.
Thanks. I will start cracking the bar oil cap. The bar ports were cleaned out. I found that the bar oil rubber tube from the pump to the slot was not seated properly. It has a Christmas tree like rubber gasket arrangement on the bottom of the part that connects to the pump. It is suppose to seal into a hole to the bar oil container. After I reseatded it. The leaking apparently stopped. I will run the saw for a while and let you know if that fixed the problem or if the leaking reoccurs.
