Lost our power for sixteen hours on the last storm. Not fun.

A bit brisk this morning, -19 C or -2 F with a whisper of wind. Weatherman can't seem to predict night temps very well so I dunno what's up with that. Poplar as always.

For over 3 days including today it’s been sunny. No fires. I think its about that time I got a brush and started cleaning or at least check it out. Supposed to hit near 70F today

It sounds like our more northern friends are finally warming up. Places in Canada above freezing. Alaska temperatures moderating big time. Good for them.

Snow this morning but nothing to be concerned with. Temperature around 30. Don't think it got below 20 last night. Warm up coming later this week but not a big one. Hopefully we will see a big warmup before the end of the month. Typically we will get a few days of some really warm (60's) temperatures in March. We're waiting...

-10c/14f here this morning but warming up quick under sunny skies. We got up to 6c/42f yesterday so we were sitting around in lawn chairs in the snow catching some rays. I wasnt motivated for a night time burn so I threw some pine in last night which of course didnt last through to this morning. Im going to work so the stove will stay cold for the day.

That’s apparently what its like in space and the difference in degrees between sunlight and shadow.

There is potential for those freak storms but so far this week looks just warmer for the most part. Little bit of rain too

Made a donation to a good cause today. I just happened to see it a few days ago. Missed it for a while. Seems easy to miss.:sherlock:

30 here, pine and walnut cooking. Dug out around the stacks a bit in preparation for another 9-18" coming tonight and tomorrow. I make paths to them with the blower, but it doesn't run so well on top of pallets.

Some pics taken over the last few days. Its been 'warm' during the day and cold at night which is typical. I guess thats a good thing as it allows the snow pack to melt a bit each day. Sorry no pics of yesterday sitting around in the sun like Midwinter but there is one taken of the pooch the day before in the yard. The last two were from today. I was able to walk on hard pack snow with out snowshoes early in the day before things softened up.

Yeah it was up to 6c/42f when I hiked the dog late morning today. I had a good sweat on.
Edit: it still gets quite cool at night though.

My daughter refers to our husky affectionately as dumdum as well from time to time. Im to lazy to get up and check our current temp but its likely warmer than yours. Your dog looks happy chilling in the snow! Are you worried about break up this year?
