    Hi Rich
We have a project for you if you can.
The Allure 50 has 2 Distribution or Convection blowers which sounds like a better idea. Although We want to know for sure! So if you could takes some wind speed and temp measurements at low med and high fan on your current stoves and then compare them to your new Allure 50, we may all learn something!!! :)
You can use a very inexpensive anemometer like this one I picked up,
    Thanks
New Anemometer for $16 to measure CFM & Temp works great!

    Congrats! Rich
That is the exact stove my wife immediately gravitated to when I made the mistake of bringing her to the stove shop one day, in fact she has a picture of it hanging on her wishlist cork board in her home office. I am not a fan of contemporary as I am an old hillbilly and live in a 1860 farmhouse but if in fact we lived in a contemporary home I would have to agree with her as that is a beautiful stove.
First words out of her mouth when i brought home the P68 was "that looks like a wood stove" not sure what she was expecting but anyhow. I also like the looks of the porcelain enamel
stoves like Skeeters but if we are ever to get another stove it will have to be the same one your getting.

Again congratulations on your purchase of your Harman look forward to seeing it setup and in action as mentioned you will feel like your money was well spent and you truly have received what you have paid for.

Yea, I agree, Luney....I as well wasn't thrilled with the contemporary look, but am willing to concede that I prefer old school.....anyhow though, I do like the new controls, hopper capacity, ease of cleaning, and really liking that combustion fan and capacitor....quiet and adjustable through the screen settings. I'm hoping I get to test the next latest and greatest from Dane......hope you guys are listening.......

I hear you on all accounts LW and you can be assured if I get this house insulated and restored one will be going somewhere in this house, that is how much she likes it and after your collection of positive attributes I will probably concede. For now what I wanted was a serious heater which I have and it is performing exceptionally well.
Thanks for the info Ill just have to make sure the wife is not looking over my shoulder when I am on the forum.

I did a lot of research and figured out what my house needed and was focused on a Harman P61 or 68. I brought my wife to the stove shop and when we walked through the front door, there on full display was a Brown Majorca enamel Accentra 52i. My wife simply turned to me and said she didn't care what stove I bought, as long as it was that one. The salesman looked at me with that knowing smile, I nodded, and we faked it for a while looking at other stoves to keep up appearances and then proceeded to the salesman's desk where I signed on the dotted line for the 52i.

Should have said this was back in 2014 so no TC but easier to clean than the previous model that had the pathway with a 90 degree turn.
