Those are awesome chain. We all forgot that the wood is also frozen. I will be cutting some green frozen trees off a creek in the next month or two, they will be some larger diameter ones. I will try and remember to get chip pics.

Last night when I cut I think we were around -24*. Needless to say the log was frozen. The wood was cut from standing dead white spruce. you can see the cracks on the cookies how dry it is. I will do a better job on collecting information, and relay all facts. I can tell you that chain ate through the log like an angry beaver on crack, acid, cocaine. It is damm impressive work chain. I bucked logs to fill the tractor bucket, made the choir fun.
looking at the angle of the cutter top, to me the angle appears to very close. Are these work chain? The sharper the angle the more durable /less sharp. The less steep is more sharp and less durable. Do I understand this correctly.
